Special shoutout to Denna, who spoke excellent English and gave us great recommendations for exploring the area, including bike rental. the rooms were unique with wooden clad walls and a spacious, comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, cooked to order with plenty of options. the location was convenient, within walking distance of town and the pier.

They were super friendly and helpful, even organizing trips and onward travel for us and other guests. The room was jaw-droppingly beautiful, with wooden decor throughout and a lovely balcony. We were treated to a delicious and varied breakfast every morning, and there was even complementary water in the fridge at reception. The location was perfect, with tons of GREAT restaurants nearby and a bike hire shop next door. The beds were unbelievably comfy and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool. Plus, the hotel was in the process of upgrading to fibre wifi - how cool is that? We had a truly unforgettable stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone!

In terms of value for money, this place was the best we've come across so far. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay.

We also loved that the hotel had its own boat and driver for affordable trips down the lake.

That there can be some morning chanting from a nearby monastery or school, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. it was a perfect stay and we highly recommend this place for a city break.
